Health Minister KKShailaja warns that strong action should take against the medical stores if they sell medicines without doctor’s prescription.
The health minister has reach out with this warning following the complaints that, in the wake of Corona scare, some medical shops have been given medicines to people for cold, throat pain, fever and cough, without doctor’s prescription. People who have
taking medicines without doctors’ instruction will lead to serious health issues. We have put strict instruction to drug controllers to take action against such medicine shops,” she said.
The minister had also suggested that restriction on shops and distributors selling medicines online. “The Centre should intervene in this case, as the State can’t act on its own,” she had said.
